Good morning everybody,let me intoduce my self,my name is Lukman Ferdian S. In this occasion i would like to tell you a legend from daerah istimewa Yogyakarta. Do you ever been visited to Roro Jonggrang temple? Yeah... it is located in sleman districk. There was a story behind the beauty of Roro Jonggrang temple. Here is it

The Legend of Roro Jonggrang

“Okay... Bandung Bondowoso its strong,powerfull,and handsome,but if still remembered that he killed my father, I don’t want to be his wife,I hate him very much... what should I do, mom?” Ask Roro Jonggrang to her mother “You must fine a good idea Roro,let’s think it!” Answerd Roro Jonggrang’s mom,”Yes!Great..! how if I order a thousand temples and two wells in one night,I’am sure Bandung Bondowoso can’t do it,although he has a great power!”Said Roro Jonggrang happily.

Next day,when Bandung Bondowoso propose her for twice,Roro Jonggrang said “I’ll marry you Bandung, but I have an order make me a thousand temples and two wells in one night!,can’t you do it?”. “Hahaha... of course my princess i’ll make it for you,only for you!”Said Bandung Bondowoso proudly.

Then,when the day came to the night,Bandung Bondowoso called gebies arroud that place. He ask them to help him making a thousand temples in that night. After a view moments the genies could finish 999 temples. Roro Jonggrang was woried about that,so she ask lady maids to burn straws its would look like breaking dawn,wich the genies afraid of. Do you know what happen to the genies? Yeah... they run away ,so there were only 999 temples,that made Bandung Bondowoso angry.

Later,Bandung Bondowoso knew that Roro Jonggrang was cheating “Aaaarrghhh... she was a big liar!!” shouted Bandung Bondowoso angrily. He raced to Roro Jonggrang an cursed her “ You must be a statue wich completed the thousand temples!!”Jonggrang,sliramu wis cidra marang prasetyamu,mula sliramu kang bakal ngganepi wong ayu!!”.“Aaaa....!!!”.And finallyRoro Jonggrang be came thousandth temple.

That’s all the legend of Roro Jonggrang temple.We can’t see the temple in prambanan temple complex,and thank you for your attention... see you...
